Lewis in the middle of the bunch racing last weekend at Tudor Grange in the West Midlands Circuit League. The Under 14s and Under 16s raced together, racing for 52 minutes and averaged 24.2mph over 44 laps and finished in a bunch sprint. 8th Under 14 boy and 18th overall. Not too shabby against strong 16 year olds!😊
Fabulous to receive a cheque this morning from the children at the De Montfort School. The money was raised from a bake sale and non uniform day. Thank you
Billy was up against competition from the GB squad yesterday.
He had the option of downgrading his last move of his routine but decided to go for it and he came third in the National Development Plan finals! Such a great achievement after a season of very hard work. Aimee Lane wins the U16 girls regional title - her last year as a youth rider and then she will race tougher races as a junior!
Three of our athletes have been selected for the English schools athletics championships in Birmingham in two weeks time. Huge Congratulations!
Eddie told the pupils at the De Montfort School all about his tenacity and determination to reach his dream of going to the Olympics. He said his resilience meant he never ever gave up. Here he is pictured with Callum and Mitchell, two CASS & Friends athletes, plus the headmaster at De Montfort School.
