The CASS & Friends is organised by a small group of friends. Over 95% of all money raised goes direct to our athletes.
Fiona Carter
Fiona Carter is a mum and a passionate sportswoman. She is an age group duathlete, winning a bronze medal in both the European and World standard distance duathlon Championships and a gold medal in the Middle distance duathlon World Championships. He marathon PB is 2.56 and she learnt to swim at the age of 52 so she could complete an Ironman. She did this in 2024 and qualified for the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Working on mindset is a top priority and she loves to mentor athletes to help them unlock their full potential. 
David James
David was an athlete, the British Junior Modern Pentathlon Champion in 1992. He has a PhD in Exercise Physiology with specialisms in endurance sport and respiratory physiology and has a 30 year career in senior leadership and executive University roles. David has two children; his son is competing in multi-event sports a professional triathlete. 
Pete Mitchener
Mitch is passionate about the benefits of taking part in sport and runs almost every day, enjoying parkrun and competing in races over all distances up to and including the marathon. He has been running for almost 50 years and has recently returned to cross country races again which was where it is all started during his school days. He also regularly plays tennis, enjoying the team aspect of doubles and playing with a partner, and is a keen swimmer at the local Lido. He now uses his time and skills to give back to local community groups and other causes where he is really passionate about making a real difference and this very much includes helping young people develop through sport and education. |
Jonathan Eaton
Motor Sports enthusiast and professionally involved in the motor industry. Being a father Jonathan knows just how important and costly it is to support children in their sporting passions which enable them to be fulfilled and rounded individuals. 
Debs Wright
Debs is a triathlete, former Royal Air Force Group Captain and founder of Ryhall Coaching. She is an expert in leadership and behavioural change who specialises in understanding the values, strengths and emotions that drive each person to succeed. Whether as an athlete, coach or administrator, sport is at the centre of Debs’ life. She is passionate about helping others develop and learn about themselves through sport. |
