OLLIE HARMER'S BIOGRAPHY
Hi, I’m Ollie and I’m 13 years old. I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old at East Glos tennis club where I realised I found it a fun activity to do. My first tournament I played was when I was aged 6 at Oxstalls. The more I competed the more I enjoyed it and wanted to do more.
I currently train at David Lloyd Gloucester and East Glos and with the Gloucestershire county squads. I love training and working hard to better my technical and tactical skills. I have represented Gloucestershire so far in U9s, U10s, U12 and U14 age groups at County Cup. This is a great way to feel like part of a team whilst playing tennis and the support you get feels great. I’ve also competed in National tournaments at U12 level and my goal is to compete at that level in U14s next year. |
The highlight of my tennis so far has been playing at Wimbledon this summer in the Play Your Way to Wimbledon National Finals. The grass courts were amazing and we were treated like real professionals.
Apart from tennis, I also play football for Bishops Cleeve colts. I think it is good to not just play one sport but to also play multiple and also meet new people while doing so. My aim in tennis is to be the best I can achieve to be. This will be made much easier from CASS & Friends. Thank you CASS & Friends for supporting me through my journey! |
