MIRIAM PALMER'S BIOGRAPHY
Hi, I’m Miriam Palmer. I’m 16 and I row for Wycliffe Junior Rowing Club. Before rowing, I swam competitively, racing at both a county and regional level before I was forced to stop temporarily due to the coronavirus lockdown. I learnt to row towards the end of lockdown and joined Gloucester Rowing Club, where I competed in local regattas.
Last year, I joined Wycliffe Junior Rowing Club, and focused on rowing in a quad. Usually I row on the water two to three times per week and do the rest of my training on the erg at home. |
Recently in the quad, we have won the Junior Sculling Regatta and come second at the National Schools Regatta.
In the short term, I would like to improve my sculling in a single so hopefully I can trial for GB in November 2022. Thank you to CASS & Friends for your support. |
