LUCINDA EVAN'S BIOGRAPHY
Hi, my name is Lucinda Evans and I am a 17 year old, 10m and 25m target pistol shooter. I was introduced into pistol shooting when I was 8 through competing in pony club tetrathlon which consists of shooting, running, swimming and riding. At 11 years old I was talent spotted to join the West Midlands regional target shooting squad and start 10m precision shooting.
In 2019 I was selected to join the British shooting development pathway, later that summer I won all my disciplines at the GB Junior international competition at Bisley shooting ground. At the end of that year I was selected to move up onto the British shooting talent pathway. |
Recently I have been gaining lots of experiences competing internationally in Europe in places such as the Netherlands and Luxembourg achieving multiple top 10 placings. I shot for England at the commonwealth shooting federation (European division) later in 2022. In 2023 I was selected to shoot for British Shooting in Hannover, Germany, which is my biggest competition to date! The highlight of my year so far is becoming the Open Women Scottish Champion of 2023 earlier this March.
I am extremely excited and honoured work with CASS & Friends, thank you for your support in helping me achieve my dreams of becoming an Olympian and a role model, as I progress to compete at a higher level internationally. |
