CALLUM'S BIOGRAPHY
I am now 16 years old and have a passion for fishing. I have been fishing from an early age and I have been a member of the Evesham youth angling club since I was 9.
I enjoy river fishing along with lake fishing and compete in matches most weekends. These allow me to have the best experiences and skills. Last year in I was picked to represent England in the under 15’s world championships in Italy, Modena. The squad of 5 travelled to Italy in August and took part in the 2 day competition and a week of practise before. After day 1 England were 3rd and individually I was 1st. After the second day of competition England finished in overall 4th place and I managed to have another great second day finishing 2nd individually to collect an individual silver medal. |
Representing England was amazing and my goal now is to work hard and represent England in the under 20’s category in the coming years. It will be a challenge to achieve selection but I will work hard locally and nationally to try and get selected.
My achievements to date are: Silver individual medal in the world championships under 15 – 2018 4th team place in the world championships representing England in 2018 1st team place in the junior national championship with Evesham Youth 2018 2nd individual place in the junior national championship in 2017 Qualified for junior champion of champions at Cudmore fisheries in 2017 and overall I finished 5th |
