ISAAC CLARKSON'S BIOGRAPHY

Hi I’m Isaac Clarkson, I’m 15 years old and I’m a Para Rower.  I started rowing 3 years ago and instantly loved it.  I was classified as a PR3 athlete for international competition and my dream is to win gold at the Paralympics. 

​I’ve won multiple medals at the Junior Inter-Regionals and British Rowing Championships as well as the British Indoor Rowing Championships, racing in the U18 category.  I hold 7 indoor rowing world records and was invited on the Para Rowing Foundation intensive training camp in Portugal, as their first junior.

I’m passionate about developing a junior para rowing pathway and helping set up a pathway that gives us the racing and training opportunities we need to reach our peak potential.

I’m so grateful to CASS & Friends for their support.  It means that I can afford essential kit to keep me competing and I can visit and train at other clubs, where I can encourage other upcoming para rowers and get incredible coaching from a variety of people.
