FREYA MOLSON'S BIOGRAPHY

Hi, my name is Freya Molson. I am a 15-year-old rower for Worcester Rowing Club. I began rowing in the summer of 2020 where I found my passion for my sport.  I competed in local and national events in my first two years, I placed highly in my age group for the events entered and raced in my first national event in the junior inter regional regatta placing 4th overall.​​  February of 2024, I sustained a hip injury which put me out of competing and training for 6 months, in September of 2024 I was able to go back to the sport and joined Worcester rowing club.

Since then, I have been training for local events and have been put through for the junior inter regional regatta on the 26th of April and Henly qualifiers in July. I am hoping to place high again at both events as a comeback.
Later in the year I am hoping to trial for the j16 England v France match which will help me to progress with my rowing ambitions, I am thankful for the advice support and encouragement from CASS & Friends and hope to make everyone proud.
