After some injury setbacks earlier in the season Billy is getting his form back and getting ready for the second British Championships qualifier at the end of the month.
Kiya was delighted to run 17.35 at the London Mini Marathon yesterday - what an amazing result running 3 miles in that time and being placed 13th in the U15 category when Kiya has only just turned 14! Kiya is Number 3265 with the other runners from the South West of England.
Billy went to Bath Uni for a Regional competition this weekend. It was a warm up event for the first England qualifier event taking place next month. He achieved Gold in Trampoline (beating a boy he has never beaten before) and getting a PB and Gold also in the Double Mini Trampoline, completing a pass he has never managed in full competition before. Although only competing against South West gymnasts he is in the strongest region nationally so a good warm up and Billy should be very pleased. During the event the England Coaches commented on his improvement. Fantastic result well done.
We are so excited that Kiya Dee is joining CASS & Friends. Last weekend Kiya won the English Schools Cross Country Championships and today she ran in Dublin representing England where she took the silver medal. Brilliant racing well done Kiya!
Tom raced this weekend and picked up another 3rd place so over half-way to a Category 2 license. Next step Category 1 and then Elite level! He's off to study for his A'Levels now! Good luck Tom.
